Erasmus+ is the EU Program approved by the European Parliament on the 1st of January of 2014. The Erasmus+ Program supports the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy in the field of education and training to improve the internationalization, multilingualism and job inclusion of European youth.
We define 4 different participants in the Erasmus+ Key Action 1 Programme:
Educational Institutions accredited by the EU as partners in the Erasmus+ program.
European students selected by their educational institutions to participate in the Erasmus+ program.
Companies, entities and institutions located in an EU member country or associated but different from the participant's country, interested in welcoming international trainees.
Companies, entities or institutions such as IDee based on the coordination and management of Erasmus+ projects in the host country of the participants.
The duration of the internships is from 2 weeks to 12 months thought the year.
