Ottawa is the capital of Canada and the seat of the Canadian Parliament. The city has impressive monuments and unique places of tourist interest in the world. It is a city full of culture, with its famous museums and art galleries that display national and international collections. Ottawa has a population of 1.2 million inhabitants and is located along the banks of the Ottawa River, the waterway constitutes the natural border between the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

The city has many parks, green areas and nature trails, to enjoy cycling, walking, hiking, climbing, skating, canoeing and much more. Ottawa’s Byward Market is one of the oldest and largest markets in Canada, and is considered the first tourist destination in the city. It is also a very popular place to go shopping, go out to eat or visit one of its art galleries.
